For the first time in Buckingham/Ft. Myers, a new thunder rolls the sands of the magnificent Buckingham Polo Arena…
The Buckingham Polo Club presents every weekend “Friday Night Polo under the stars” & “Sunday Polo @ Teatime” – starting in August 2012. Players from around the world to right here in Buckingham, Ft. Myers will compete in the “sport of kings”.
This thrilling affair will give guests a unique and up close look at the sport of Polo..

We are pleased to share with you our launching, the beginning of a new tradition of world-class polo, which combines the beauty and speed of thoroughbred horses with the excitement and skill of team competition.

Fall in love with polo at our magnificent outdoor arena, where new and experienced riders have the opportunity to learn the game from the ground up.  Join the pros and learn hitting techniques, game strategy, and the fundamentals of polo. 
All of your equipment will be supplied, which will include a school horse, tack, mallet and helmet.  Give it a shot!

The Club charges very reasonable membership rates, particularly for new members.  To help players enjoy the sport, it offers a training school and fulltime teaching pro, special activities such as youth and women’s polo, and beginner leagues, I/I programs for students and scrambles.

Whether you come for a couple of hours and scout your talent, give it a shot or fall in love with polo, whether alone or with family or friends, whether to relax, to compete vigorously in the "sport of Kings" or to be entertained; you will always find a warm welcome here and I am confident that you will want to return again.
